GENERAL
What does ALSC offer?
We provide leadership training and executive development through coaching, corporate training, bespoke programmes, and nationally recognised qualifications. Our programmes are designed to build confident, capable leaders across industries, Government, and community.
Who are your programmes for?
We work with individuals, teams, and organisations especially those seeking practical, inclusive, and values-based leadership development. Our programs support emerging leaders, experienced managers, executives, teams, and individuals seeking professional development or career progression. We work with government agencies, corporate organisations, small businesses, and community groups.
Do I need leadership experience to join your courses?
No. Leadership is a skill that can benefit everyone and we offer programmes suitable for all levels - from individuals to new supervisors to senior leaders. Each course clearly outlines its intended audience so you can choose the best fit.
What makes ALSC a credible provider?
Each of our principals have over 20 years of experience in leadership training and executive development, and hold leadership positions within business and the community. With nationally recognised qualifications, accredited profiling tools, and a proven track record of delivering results for government and corporate clients, our programmes are grounded in real-world relevance, strategic insight, and inclusive values.
Are you a Local Buy approved supplier?
Yes. ALSC is a Local Buy Pre-Qualified Supplier for Human Resources and Employee Services. This means Queensland government departments and councils can engage us directly under approved procurement frameworks. For non‑government clients, our Local Buy status demonstrates that we meet rigorous, independently verified standards in areas such as insurance, financial stability, governance, and sustainability—giving you confidence that you’re partnering with a trusted, compliant, and quality‑assured provider.

Can you tailor a programme for our team?

Do you offer executive coaching?
Yes. Our coaching is designed for leaders navigating complexity, change, or transition. Sessions are confidential and outcomes-focused.
Are your leadership programs available online or in‑person?
The answer is 'yes' to both those options! We offer online programmes, in‑person workshops, blended learning, and fully tailored in‑house training for organisations.
Do you work with government and public sector agencies?
Yes. Public sector leadership development is a core part of our work. We have extensive experience supporting government teams across Australia and the Pacific.
What psychometric tools do you use in your programmes?
We are accredited practitioners of several globally recognised tools:

TMS Team Management Profiling (TMP): A leading psychometric tool for personal, team, and leadership development. It’s used in our coaching, short courses, Positive Workplaces Programme, and other programmes as requested by our clients.

TMS Linking Leader Profile (LLP): A 360-degree feedback tool that identifies leadership behaviours and performance gaps. It supports coaching and tailored development programmes.

MSCEIT (Mayer-Salovey-Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test): A scientifically validated tool that measures emotional intelligence through ability-based testing. It’s used in our Advanced Emotional Intelligence course and coaching programmes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Is ALSC a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)?
Yes. ALSC is a fully accredited Registered Training Organisation (RTO #32156), authorised to deliver nationally recognised qualifications under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). We offer training up to Graduate Diploma level through flexible delivery modes including coaching, online, classroom, and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
What qualifications can I study with ALSC?
We offer ten (10) qualifications ranging from Certificate IV to Graduate Diploma level in Leadership and Management, as well as select qualifications in Business, Project Management, Marketing and Communication, and Management (Learning).
How do I enrol in a course or qualification?
We encourage you to contact us directly for personalised guidance. We’re happy to help you choose the right programme.
Do you offer payment plans for qualifications?
Yes. Flexible payment options are available for most qualifications. Contact us to discuss what works best for you.
Do I need a USI to enrol?
Yes. All learners enrolling in nationally recognised training must provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI). We can help you obtain one if needed. The exception is offshore international students who are studying from an overseas location.
Can international students enrol in ALSC courses?
Unfortunately, no. ALSC is not currently registered with CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students), which means we are unable to accept onshore international students holding student visas. If you're unsure about your eligibility, feel free to contact us - we are happy to help clarify.
Can I study online?
Yes. Many of our qualifications are available via flexible online delivery, with support from experienced facilitators.
BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
How do I book a course?
Our online short courses can be booked directly via our website via our Upcoming Courses page or you can send an email request. For group bookings, we can schedule the course to meet your needs. Contact us via email or phone to make group bookings, organise bespoke programmes, or enquire regarding our qualifications.
How do I book a coaching session?
For coaching clients, we provide a bespoke coaching plan to meet your needs. Contact us via email or phone to discuss your requirements. We’ll guide you through the process.
Do you offer invoicing for government departments?
Yes. We work with procurement teams and can provide formal quotes, invoices, and supporting documentation.
Are payment plans available?
For individual learners, flexible payment options may be available. Please contact us to discuss.
POLICIES AND SUPPORT
Where can I find your privacy policy?
Our privacy policy is available here. It outlines how we handle personal information for both RTO and non-RTO clients.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Please contact us as soon as possible. We do offer flexible rescheduling as long as you inform us two days before the scheduled programme. Our cancellation and rescheduling policy is outlined in our policies page.
Do you offer support during training?
Yes. Our facilitators provide ongoing support, and our team is available to assist with technical or administrative queries.
